One Simple Voice began as one woman’s journey to her soul. Frannie Rose had a thriving career, two small children and a loving husband. In the midst of this worldly success, Frannie was struck down with an illness that went undiagnosed for 17 years. She was unable to get out of bed except for short durations. Ultimately, her choices became bodily surrender via suicide or spiritual surrender to hear God’s Voice. She chose to delve deep within herself and heard ... the One Simple Voice.

If you are seeking a spiritual connection in your life, we wish to help you discover peace. One Simple Voice is a Roman Catholic, non-profit organization with the essential purpose of assisting people who desire to begin the transformation to a life of sacred wisdom, peace, love and union with God.

A true spiritual teacher assists in bringing to awareness the stories and obstacles that come between you and God. Shining a light on these illusions, these obstacles burn away creating more space for the expansion of the true Self.  The veil is lifted and God’s voice is heard.

  • All actions taken at OSV will treat all parties involved with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and God-centeredness.

  • OSV will encourage all religions to work side by side, to honor each other’s gifts, and grow in God-centered awareness together

  • OSV will BE the change we wish to see through the decisions we make and the actions we take

  • We will encourage individuals and groups to draw on their own wisdom and experience, acknowledging all can hear God’s voice, if they simply are open to listen

MORE ABOUT - ONE SIMPLE VOICE

 

 

When truth is shared with God in the center we experience a wondrous union with one another calling us to mutual love and respect.  

 

We embrace the life, death, resurrection and teachings of Jesus Christ as revealed through the sacred writers of the Bible and the continuing teaching of our church.

 

We especially honor the gift of the holy ones who experienced God's voice in their lives and wrote of what they heard. These came to be known as mystical, or direct, experiences of God. We feel God's call in our own lives to invite people of all faiths to listen for God’s voice in their own lives.

 

As the Catholic Church has taught in the documents of the second Vatican Council, the Church is open to hear truth as found in all faiths. The spirit of openness to truth, whenever it is proposed, marks the teachings of our retreats. Here is what one of those documents says:

 “Likewise, other religions found everywhere try to counter the restlessness of the human heart, each in its own manner, by proposing "ways," comprising teachings, rules of life, and sacred rites. The Catholic Church rejects nothing that is true and holy in these religions. She regards with sincere reverence those ways of conduct and of life, those precepts and teachings which, though differing in many aspects from the ones she holds and sets forth, nonetheless often reflect a ray of that Truth which enlightens all men. Indeed, she proclaims, and ever must proclaim Christ "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6), in whom men may find the fullness of religious life, in whom God has reconciled all things to Himself.”

Again, the famous Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas says this: "Every truth without exception – no matter who makes it – is from God".  After all, God's Love Is Given To All In One Simple Voice.
