Born and raised in Flushing, NY.  JoAnn moved to Texas in 1963 where she met her husband Dick.  She and Dick were married in 1965 and lived in Houston until 1982 when they moved to Buena Vista and raised 5 great children together.  JoAnn spent a lot of time working with their children's school, the community of Buena Vista, and their Parish.
